What happens in a facial cupping session?
A session takes about 30 minutes.
- Disinfecting. We clean and disinfect the skin on your face.
- Oil. We apply oil so the cups can glide.
- Moving cupping. Small cups glide over the skin with gentle suction.
- Dry cupping. The cups rest in place on the chosen areas.
- Wet cupping. We finish with wet cupping on the face: small, shallow incisions, and the cups draw out a small amount of blood. How wet cupping works.
Every session uses single-use equipment.
How do I prepare for facial cupping?
Please take a shower before you come, and come with a clean face: no makeup, moisturizer, sunscreen or any other product on your face.
What can facial cupping help with?
Clients book facial cupping to support collagen production and to care for acne-prone skin. Everyone’s skin is different, so results vary, and we don’t promise a specific outcome.
Why does good skin start on the inside?
Some skin concerns are linked to hormones, others to the gut. Good skin works from the inside first, then shows on the outside. That’s why we recommend regular hijama sessions alongside facial cupping, to support your whole body, not only your face.
Can I add facial cupping to a day of care?
Facial treatments are part of our ladies’ spa retreat for women and the bride’s day of care in our Pre-Nikkah package.
